Keeping the
tradition alive with unsurpassed depth, the Fisher
F-75 is the coin, beach and relic detector that is
second-to-none! I do not consider this a "starter
detector" and like many high-end detectors, there is
a learning curve. Perhaps the best advice I can give
is, don't run it too HOT! This detector has as much
sensitivity to deep targets at half-power as many do
at max! In fact, most people get
frustrated with this awesome detector just because they don't take the time to learn it. Just a little advice: I have customers who purchase the high performance detectors, then bring them back-in to trade-up. When I see they have a good detector, the first thing I figure is, "there must be trouble." When I ask what they are hoping to improve-on by trading-up they often say; "This machine sometimes lies to me, it says the target is one thing, and I find something else. Also, it is not all that stable, sometimes it will be jumpy and noisy." Folks; these issues are characteristic of high performance metal detectors! You don't pay more to solve these issues! The more you pay the more of these issues you get! You have to work with the detector and learn to understand the detector . . . or buy lower! In many cases, some people will find more treasure with an entry level detector . . . then slowly work your way up!

 GOLD BUG DPI don't get a great number of customers looking for nugget detectors but I sell a few. I like to stock this one for the Great Lakes beach hunters. Hunting many of the Great Lakes Beaches is challenging. Many hunter's don't believe there is much to be found, but they are wrong. The ground is highly mineralized and the trace iron minerals are not evenly distributed. If you go down by the water in many parts of southern Lake Michigan and scrape away the surface sand, you will see black streaks like a marble cake. This rapidly changing condition causes a white-out condition to most detectors. What is lost to the metal detector is not modern coinage or even large iron trash . . . . it is the gold and silver jewelry! With the higher 19 kHz operating frequency and the Double D-coil this detector can handle these tough conditions! The 11" DD elliptical search coil is also good at rapid ground coverage quickly!

deepest, easiest-to-use most
dependable 2-Box unit out there!
Discrimination is not by metal type, (it detects all metals), it discriminates by size . . . it ignores small items. It will not detect a single coin on the surface. But a babyfood jar full of coins about three feet. A metal container the size of a cigar box about 4 to 6 feet. A container the size of a gallon can about 6 to 8 feet is possible! A container the size of a 5 gallon jug about 10 to 12 feet. A container the size of a 55 gallon oil barrel about 15 to 20 feet! The larger the metal target the deeper it can detect it! It can also be a ore vain! This detector will detect Iron, Copper, Brass, Silver, Gold, Aluminum, Zinc, . . . all metals! With some tuning tricks a target's depth can be estimated. Also, with two operators the handle can be removed and with each person holding one box they can walk up to 30 feet apart to search a larger area fast. With some inexpensive options the Gemini III can be used for a powerful pipe and cable tracer.

Price $ 899.00  CZ-21The CZ-21 is one of the best all-purpose detectors on today's market that can both be used for deep water dives as deep as 250 feet, or it also can be used for a deep seeking land hunting. The CZ-21 is a dual frequency detector that can erase the most horrible ground signature! Unlike most waterproof detectors it is untroubled by wet-salt or iron minerals! Features Include: Non-Motion Pinpoint with V.C.O. (changing pitch) Audio Target Response (includes waterproof headphones) Target 4-Tone ID (includes large target alert) The CZ-21 is available with the 8 inch coil or the 10 coil, but you must choose one or the other! The coil and the headphones both are hardwired and not owner changed. This is not a bad thing! On a detector that can be used for diving, this eliminates many potential problems. When choosing a coil for this unit, my advice is the opposite you may find elsewhere. The big coil is the coil with limitations. If any degree of discrimination is used the larger coil becomes blinded to good targets near trash. Also, in area of large rocks the larger coil is harder to maneuver . . . same for dense wooded land areas. Also, the larger coil loses some sensitivity to small jewelry items. Both coils will reach deep on large targets like those sought after by salvage divers like anchors, cannon, boat motors. My advice for is buying the 8 inch coil. The exception being the relic hunters, or others scanning huge areas. The bigger coil is like painting with a bigger brush. Sale Price $
1499.00  1280-X AquanautThe 1280-X is a legendary underwater detector! As a dealer located in the heart of all the Great Lakes water hunting I see lots for treasure recovered in the form of coins and jewelry. No detector company's make-or-model has found more then the 1280-X Fisher! The 1280-X has been around for decades . . . because it is so darn good! Therein lies the warning, some of the early used units have had time for gaskets and housings degrade to the point of no longer holding out water, so don't buy too old! The 1280-X is a great fresh water detector, but it has to be detuned somewhat for saltwater use. The advice I gave (above) about choosing a coil is true on the 1280-X like it is on the CZ-21, so choose wisely! The 1280-X takes 8-AA batteries and will seem to run forever on alkline batteries.
